Pilar’s mother, a Hollywood based interior designer in the early 1990s, had impeccable style—this easily translated into the fashionable and fun way Pilar dressed as a child. She wasn’t averse to getting stuck on one look though; Pilar remembers that between the ages of 2 and 4 she had an “Angelina Ballerina” pink crushed velvet and tulle dress that she wore constantly. And I think for many of us, this idea of a personalized yet unofficial uniform is still enticing.
